We’re on the A82 between Inverness and Drumnadrochit. Drive nine miles out of Inverness, you’ll find us a quarter of a mile after the turn off up to Abriachan. Parking is after the bridge.

A garden for plant enthusiasts and lovers of tranquil hidden gems
There’s no café and no gift store. The garden is no manicured display garden. It’s wild, it’s rambling. There will be some weeds.
Perfect for you if your idea of a good time is wandering a garden overflowing with beautiful and unusual plants, and a nursery full of gardening gems.
Children and dogs are welcome
Children love to explore our winding woodland paths. We have water features so we do ask that all children are accompanied by an adult. Bring the kids, bring a picnic, bring a camera, bring the dog (on a lead please).
Catch us at a market
Almost every weekend, we’re at a local market somewhere in the Highlands. Come say hi to Hamish and get some stunning hardy plants grown here by Loch Ness for Highland conditions.
Book a garden tour
We run private guided tours of the gardens for groups of 5-10 for £10.00 per person. Tours take 45 minutes to an hour. Please be sure to book in advance and talk to us if you’d like to bring a larger group.
You’ll be walking up steep woodland tracks and steps, so we’re afraid these tours aren’t suitable for people in wheelchairs, or parents with pushchairs.
You’re welcome to take a self-guided stroll around the garden for £4.00. We’re open from 9:00am-5:00pm seven days a week.
Explore the woodland trails next door
You can access a network of lovely woodland walking trails from the nursery carpark. These run along to the Clansman Hotel (good for a scone and a bowl of soup), then join the old coffin trail up to the village of Abriachan. Or you can head straight up through the woodland until you reach the Abriachan road. Watch out for red squirrels and badgers at dusk.
