Abriachan Nurseries is situated in an area rich in a range of walks suitable for all ages and abilities. Our own beautiful winding woodland garden walk is the ideal way to start.

There are also an extensive network of walks in the adjacent Woodland Trust property and nearby Community Woodland of Abriachan Forest Trust (The largest community-owned forest in Britain).

Leaflets and information are available in our Garden Reading Room or ask any of the staff.

The Great Glen Way

The Great Glen Way also runs through Abriachan forest land, providing those that are keen with a challenging walk with more spectacular views further down the Great Glen.

Also, you can hire mountain bikes in Drumnadrochit .... or go to the pony trekking centre at Borlum Farm.

Closest Village To Abriachan

Drumnadrochit and Glen Urquhart have a host of attractions, ameneities and walks. There are exhibitions about Loch Ness and the Loch Ness Monster, crafts including, wood-turning, pottery and glassblowing and the famous Urquhart Castle. Drumnadrochit has its own Tourist Information Centre where the staff are very helpful and informative.
