HOSTAS It is a great shame that many people don’t grow Hostas because they fear slugs will eat them. Our experience is that slugs are a minimal problem, even with our late, wet springs. Hostas settle well and by their 3rd year, are wonderful garden features, their bold leaves giving interest and structure, especially in shade. Do discover or rediscover them.
