Anemones have an intimate charm which makes them plants you seek out in your garden year after year.

Wood Anemones Anemone nemorosa . These are cultivated forms of our native wood anemones. All are dainty, early flowering and build up steadily, year on year. You will find them in our garden amongst rocks and under the skirts of shrubs. Look closely at the flowers and turn over the petals to reveal the blue and violet shades reverse.
