Chilean Flame Tree. The first I saw in flower was at the front of the Kelper Store in Port Stanley, Falkland Islands. The next a marvoulous specimum in a quarry garden in Aberdeen, and this past year we found one in full flower at Attadale, near Lochcarron. What they all had in common was that they are a warm sheltered spot. Erect evergreen large shrub, eventually 3m; fabulous orange-scarlet clusters of flower in May and June.
